Former SPINESHANK Frontman Changes Name Of Project, Posts New Music
May 20, 2005Former SPINESHANK frontman Jonny Santos' new band have changed their name to SILENT CIVILIAN from the previously announced SILENT CIVILIANS.
The band, who recently began work on their debut album, have parted ways with Corporate Punishment Records "for reasons [we are] unable to discuss," according to Santos. "We wish CPR nothing but the best of luck with their bands and their future as a metal label," Jonny added in an online posting.
"We are currently in talks with several labels and will surely find a home very soon. This is the reason we are having to push back the release date [to late 2005/early 2006]."
SILENT CIVILIAN have posted some of their new music at their MySpace.com page. An official web site, SilentCivilian.com, will be launched before the end of the month.
